Watson Lake is a man-made reservoir located just a few miles from downtown Prescott. The lake is surrounded by stunning rock formations, including the Granite Dells, which make for a unique and breathtaking paddleboarding experience.

As you paddle around Watson Lake, you'll be treated to stunning views of the Granite Dells, a unique rock formation that rises out of the water and towers above the surrounding landscape. These rock formations are millions of years old and are a sight to behold. The lake is also home to a variety of wildlife, including bald eagles, great blue herons, and several species of fish, making it an excellent spot for nature lovers.

If you're looking for a more challenging experience, you can try paddling through the Granite Dells. The rock formations create narrow channels and hidden coves — though this is a more advanced route and is not recommended for beginners.

As of 2021, the entry fee to Watson Lake Park is $3 per person, plus an additional $3 per vehicle.
